On April 23, Philadelphia received three new murals from California street artist Shepard Fairey, perhaps best known for his OBEY campaign and the Barack Obama “HOPE” poster. Fairey and his crew began mid-afternoon at the Rocket Cat Cafe in Fishtown and ended  in South Philly on 6th and Reed streets. I caught up with them during their second installation on 26th St and Girard Ave.  Here is a brief documentation of the installation.
