Early this morning Nickolas Budzilo, 3, passed away due to severe burns sustained from a fire in his Port Richmond home yesterday. His grandfather and pregnant mother were able to escape with his 1-year-old brother, but were unable to reenter the home to retrieve Nickolas and his 5-year-old brother, Christopher. Firefighters rescued both boys and took them to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where Christopher is listed in stable condition. His mother and grandfather were taken to Temple Hospital and are also listed as in stable condition.
